Positivity is the habitual act of thinking positively. Habits, like gardens, require cultivation. One does not wake to discover a manicured garden spontaneously invading a patch of weeds. Weeds must be removed from the root, and even a garden picked clean of weeds must be weeded again and again, for weeds spring up in any untended space. Seeds must replace weeds, and saplings of trees which bear fruit. Maintenance must remain routine. The self and the garden are similar.
