Expectations are shown to affect outcome. Expectations which are consistently positive lead to more consistently positive outcomes. (see: Pygmalion Effect.) Karma is probabilistic determinism controlling the four-dimensional evolution of physical systems possessing sentient consciousness, poetically expressed. Imagine a fist full of colored stones. By removing a stone, the probability of randomly choosing another stone of the same color is decreased. Interpreting failure as karmic data inherently reduces the probability of experiencing failure in the future. This mindset is called success. The wise practice its adoption.
