Byōbu (Folding Screen) The folding screen is divided into three or four panels with a traditional Japanese design Each panel will feature a simple yet elegant pattern of cherry blossoms gently falling over Mount Fuji The cherry blossoms can be outlined as small, delicate flowers with some scattered on the ground for added detail. Small lanterns are hung around the byōbu, with a string connecting them, giving a festive feel. The lanterns can have simple shapes with some details like floral patterns or plain lines to make them easy to colour.
